Body Gesture Instrument 2025

Max Chung worked with Dafna Naphtali to create an innovative instrument that uses MIDI pedals and custom fabricated buttons. The instrument responds to full-body movements, allowing for expressive physical interaction. This system enables performers to engage with a dynamic sonic narrative through motion and touch, blending physicality with compositional narratives. This set included collaborations with fellow performers, Gannon Green, JJ Pak, and Christoff Jiang.
